EAA Chapter 217

Based in beautiful Kenosha, WI

The EAA's B-17 visit to the Kenosh Airport has been cancelled due to a mechanical issue. They hope to reschedule for next weekend. Check back for more details. There will still be a Young Eagles Rally Saturday and Sunday starting 830am and may go into the afternoon if there are kids to fly. The Young Eagles Rally will be at the Kenosha Airport Terminal building.

EAA Chapter 217 is based at the Kenosha Regional Airport (KENW) in Kenosha, WI. It is located just west of the city of Kenosha. Monthly meetings are normally held in the Kenosha Regional Airport Terminal building on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7pm.

Chapter 217 was chartered in 1965 as the Rambleaires with Bill Sterba as President. Since then we have gone through many changes. These changes are what make the chapter what it is today. We currently are a diverse group of approximately 20 members. We have pilots and non-pilots, builders and non-builders. All are aviation enthusiasts.

Several of our members have project aircraft. These include everything from puddle jumpers and classic aircraft to serious cross-country spreedsters.
